Bloomfield... Clothing for the Authentic Modern Woman. The fashion sense of this
line can compliment any core wardrobe and provides stand alone pieces that accessorize
well for day, work and evenings out.
Designer Cyndi Schuring is responsible for the production supervision
of an entire factory enterprise. As co-founder of Direct Current Manufacturing

clientele. The sewing business provides a resource for other independent
designers interested in ethical and sustainable small batch, domestic manufacturing.
In addition to producing her own Bloomfield Brand, Cyndi produces

of outdoor and recreational apparel. Her daily occupation includes the management of
the sewing team, vendor relations and new product development for corporate, custom and
private label customers.
With over a two decades of experience working the front lines for a
national fashion retailer, Cyndi takes her customers needs to heart. She applies her 14
years of manufacturing leadership as a factory owner to ensure her line delivers a
reliable fit and finish. Her styles are crisp, clean, distinctive and
intentionally understated.

produced in small batches in the designers Vancouver, Canada cut and sew facility.

every aspect of the making personally overseas each and every step in the handling of the
goods.
Born in Canada of English-Irish and Dutch-Indonesian decent, Schuring
has worked in fashion her entire life. Her family tree is crowded with fine artists and
artisans. Crafts people, who for generations have filled their homes and the community
around them with paintings and hand stitched embroidered textiles. As a tradition,
Bloomfield has been given to most members of the family as a middle name.
